Update: latest Power BI Connector certified by Microsoft

Microsoft has certified the latest release of Samsara’s Power BI connector!

Power BI Desktop users must be on version 2.137.1102.0 (10/28/2024 release) or later. Download the latest version on Microsoft’s site.

The dashboards you’ve already built using our published connector will automatically update to the latest release. You will gain access to all new GA tables. Note that previously supported tables are reverse compatible.

  • Make sure to reach out to your Samsara representative to ask about beta table access.

If you’re still using a custom MEZ file to access Samsara data, you can switch over to the published connector. Simply move the file out of the custom folder path and Power BI will automatically substitute the latest certified version when you access Samsara data.
