AG46 assets only appear in V1/Fleet/Assets, not in /fleet/equipment or /fleet/vehciles

We have about 20 AG46 trackers on various equipment.
The only way I can retrieve location info for them is using the legacy v1 API, with the /v1/fleet/assets endpoint.
The newer end points return zero results:
/fleet/equipment
/fleet/vehicles
Is this the correct behavior, or is there something misconfigured in our set up?
