CM32 Speed / Onscreen Clock

I have a technical query in relation to the Samsara CM32 camera, and where it obtains its speed information / onscreen clock display from?

From the information I’ve found online, it would seem to suggest the device connects both to the vehicle CANbus but also GNSS / GPS. Are there any technical specifications to confirm this?.
