Getting Started
I would like to learn more about Integrating with Samsara.
Samsara offers a free, open API, that developers can leverage to build a custom integration (App), which will be hosted within the Samsara Dashboard for customers to install. To learn more, navigate to Marketplace Apps.
I want to become an integrated partner; where do I get started?
To become a certified integration partner, an App must be built from your Developer Portal and certified by the Samsara Integration Partnerships team. Please navigate to “Become a Partner” and complete the form.
I would like to learn more about Samsara’s App Marketplace and how to get listed.
Samsara’s goal for Samsara App Marketplace is to make it easier for shared customers/prospects to discover your solution as a certified partner. Published “apps” in Samsara are standardized connections to partner software.
Developer Tools
I would like some assistance with designing my integration, I'm not sure which APIs to use and what to consider.
Samsara provides API Use Case guides and Webhook guides here on the Public Developer Site. For more information on best practices, refer to Samsara’s REST API Overview and Samsara’s Knowledge Base. If you have specific questions not covered in our documentation, we encourage you to join our Community discussion board, where you can connect with other developers and our team for additional support.
I am having trouble accessing an API token/test org?
Contact support at [email protected] to request a test org. Please include your developer org URL in the email.
How do I access test data?
We recommend contacting a mutual customer to acquire an API token from their Samsara org.
Certify Your App
I am ready to publish my integration to Samsara’s App Marketplace.
Before publishing your app to Samsara’s App Marketplace, please review the app certification process, Published “apps” in Samsara Knowledge Base & deck. Once reviewed, please fill out the App Marketplace Certification form.
I would like to learn more about Samsara’s referral program.
Do you find that we share many customers and/or mutual prospects? Consider becoming part of our referral partner program.

I don’t see an available API endpoint and/or have some product feedback that I'd like to share to improve my integration.

I would like to make an update to my App.
You can make changes to public apps (logo, text, scopes, etc.) without unpublishing your listing using app versioning. Visit Integration with Partner Application Knowledge Base for more information.
I would like to make an update to my App Marketplace listing.

There seems to be a bug with your APIs, webhooks, or other developer tools & resources, and I need help.
Samsara has a dedicated API support team. Please remember to include your developer portal URL in the support ticket. If you are have suggestions on how to improve our API and tools, please give us feedback. If you are seeing unexpected behavior, please log into your developer portal, navigate to the "?" icon on the bottom left, click it to file a support ticket. Be sure to include a detailed summary of observed vs. expected behavior, including
- your organization name
- mutual customer name and Samsara org ID
- issue details (observed behavior, business impact)
- technical details (API endpoint used, error messages, etc.)
ℹ️ *If you reach out to our Support, know that we cannot share any customer data directly with you. Always include the mutual customer contact when discussing a customer issue.
